ODE TO KRUGER
Oh Kruger, sacred Land of Old
Where my soul finds freedom, young and bold
In your expansive heart, I find my home
Where my spirit soars, forever to roam
Your ancient echoes whisper through the air
A symphony of sounds beyond compare
The rivers sing a chorus, deep and wide
A call to the wild, I must abide
In this land of untamed beauty, wild and free
Where legends roam, I love to be
Contrasts and cycles abound in this place
Seasons and rhythms revered in this space
Your heritage and legacy, a treasure to behold
Where all of my stories and memories unfold
A testament to your glory, that always remains
Teach me to sing my sweetest refrains
Oh Kruger, my heart’s true home
Where my spirit will always roam
Wild and untamed, unfettered and free
For always and ever, in you I will be.
